Once again, Goldsmiths Leisure Centre, Crowborough, hosted the East Sussex Championships

For the third year, the entries were highly subscribed and all disciplines were played along with a ‘Plate’ event in the singles. Standard of play was extremely good and it is expected that many of these players will be representing their County next season.

The Tournament was sponsored by Freedom Leisure and Wrightsure.  Trophies were donated by senior coach John Blatchley.  The tournament ran very smoothly due to the excellent planning by Bruce Peapell, Karen  Shearing on the desk, and his dedicated team of scorers.  Presentations were made by U15 Squad Coach, Tony Willmott, County player Tessa Saunders and County Child Welfare Officer, Karen Shearing.
